The Porn Comic

The Porn Comic : 112 pages of pornographic stories with comics by Noémie Fantôme, Vika Korshunova, Lukasz Majcher, ale rodriguez, Zora Sauerteig, Smirk, Sebastian Strombach, Paul Winck, Jennifer Wünnecke and complementary illustrations by Eva Pedroza and Lilli Loge.

For its first comic anthology, WEIRD takes you on a exciting journey through sexual desires and wild fantasies with 9 stories by various Berlin comic artists on the theme of Pornography.

Of course, WEIRD wouldn’t just make any porn comic, it would have to reflect our diverse sensibilities and convictions. It would have to glow amongst the dullness of mainstream erotica. We had to make porn that would make us (and you) truly horny. We wanted to bring something new to the table, something daring, something fascinating… It would have to be unapologetically pornographic but still inviting to as wide a range of adults as possible. We created the Porn Comic.

About the language used in the Porn Comic (and other WEIRD publications). Call it Bad English, European English or whatever bastardised version of the high and mighty English language it is we speak here, this is also what we use in our books. Our texts are proofread and corrected many times over but as Comics are, in our opinion, a popular medium of expression, we favour the use of spoken over formal language throughout our books.

Languages are ever evolving and whatever English has become in our multicultural part of the World, it also had its charm, its random formulations and words borrowed from other languages that make it unique and that is exactly what we want to share with you.
